I recently enjoyed a post from Pauline over at Gypsy Life who had joined in a Blog share over at Angle and Views to share a Flower a week on a weekly series called Flowers Over Flowers every Tuesday with nalinki.
So I thought to join in.. So my Flower picture for today is of a meadow on the mountain of Schafberg in Austria.. After a wonderful ride on the Mountain railway to the top which has run since 1893. I took this picture of the Lake through the meadow flowers from the top of Mount Schafberg.
Wishing you all a week full of colour and love
Happy Gardening

Wild flowers are a treasure to discover, these contrast nicely.

Sounds like Spring is late in coming Fran.. Its a photo I took kneeling down on the side of the mountain.. It was a glorious day to remember and views were just out of this world. 🙂

We have been told to expect a long, very hot and dry summer. I am hoping that they (the boffins) are wrong. Last year we had 3 weeks of mild summer and that was it. I could live with that 😉

Beautifully photographed Sue, the backdrop makes a great setting for the Scotch thistles and blue flowers, I think they look like Scotch thistles.

They do look like thistles but these have no thorns 🙂
