Natures Garden is what I have been exploring recently, as I went for a day out at a local beauty spot only a 20 minute drive away to Hardwick Hall. Below are the wonderful grounds which surround the Hall.. Which visitors can access for free.. Its only the Hall and Hall gardens which need tickets.
We walked along to the Lakes as the water lilies were just coming out. The geese were nurturing their young, and were obviously used to seeing visitors.. But we kept our distance to allow them to feel safe.
The pictures I took are below. Of One Sunday walk at Hardwick Hall
Sunday mornings we like to walk.. And so the following week it was another fine day.. This time we went to along a favourite walk.. This area was once an Ugly Slag Heap from a Coal Mine.. but when the mine closed the land was turned into a Nature reserve.. A small lake was created for fishing, and wild life..
Here Geese and Ducks live and at times there have been swan families.
We set off along our 2 hour walk,
And I loved snapping photo’s of the flowers
All safely back with Mum and Dad in the water as we continue along home..
I hope you enjoyed the walk with me..
Coming up soon is more Allotment Updates.
Enjoy Summer and all it brings your way
